Sarah Sikander
Founder
Sarah Sikander founded Sandbox following the recognition of a clear gap within the UAE’s entertainment landscape: the absence of a dedicated product placement agency able to navigate the needs of productions, brands, cultural context and audiences with equal fluency.
Her career began in international commercial strategy and business development, with experience across Europe, North America, Latin America and the Gulf. A later involvement in brand integrations for a UAE feature film revealed both the growing opportunity for product placement in the region and the need for a more specialised approach.
Drawing on her perspective as a third-generation UAE resident, Sarah integrates an intricate knowledge of local cultural and commercial dynamics with a global outlook. Fluent in English, French, Urdu/Hindi and Spanish, she engages partners and audiences across cultures with ease. She directs Sandbox’s partnerships with an appreciation for culture and its alignment with commercial pragmatism, focusing on the capacity for authentic integrations to enhance narrative depth and foster meaningful audience engagement.

Lily Barclay
Partnerships Integration Manager
Lily Barclay leads partnership development and integration strategy, helping shape collaborations between brands and productions from initial opportunity through to execution.
Beginning her career in advertising, she developed campaigns for global brands including Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Samsung and Virgin Media across agencies in London and Dubai. This foundation provided exposure to both strategic thinking and creative development, cultivating a deep appreciation for how brands communicate within increasingly fragmented media environments and how audiences engage with them.
At Sandbox, she applies that experience to product placement, identifying opportunities that feel embedded within narrative, setting and audience experience.

Maria Cisco
Brand Strategy & Partnerships Consultant
Maria Cisco advises on brand strategy and partnerships, drawing on a career shaped by talent representation, influencer marketing and brand-led campaigns within the beauty, fashion and lifestyle sectors.
Over the past decade, she has worked with regional and international brands through leading Dubai agencies while also establishing and leading her own talent management company. Having operated on both sides of the partnership landscape, she brings a rare perspective on how brands, personalities and audiences create value together.
This dual perspective as well as a strong awareness of cultural relevance, audience behaviour and the shifting ways in which influence is built, maintained and translated into meaningful brand presence informs her work at Sandbox.

Sohaa Shehryar
Operations & Admin Executive
At Sandbox, Sohaa contributes to the operational framework behind the company’s partnerships, coordinating the day-to-day processes that support relationships across brands, agencies and entertainment stakeholders.
Her professional background encompasses digital strategy, content development, brand positioning and business operations across agency, e-commerce and creative environments. Her work with both regional and international organisations has contributed to developing a broad perspective on how brands build relevance across different markets and sectors.
This breadth of experience informs an approach characterised by organisation, adaptability and a lasting interest in visual culture, audience behaviour and the ways in which brands are perceived, communicated and remembered.

Angelina Samieva
Intern
Angelina Samieva is a Film Production graduate whose early work encompasses production, content and creative coordination across a range of independent and commercial projects.
Throughout her studies, she produced and managed short-form productions, gaining practical experience across development, planning and on-set collaboration while building an understanding of the creative and logistical considerations that shape successful productions. Alongside this, she has contributed to content and marketing initiatives, supporting audience-facing communications and creative development.
At Sandbox, she supports research, content and project coordination across the company’s growing portfolio of partnerships. Her interests centre on storytelling, audience engagement and the changing relationship between entertainment and brand presence.
